Meet Your Therapist

Sarah Newcomer, MS IMFT                  (She/Her)

I'm direct, active, and my client is your relationship...

Sarah Newcomer, MS IMFT

Sex and Relationship Therapist

My approach...

As a relationship specialist, I am different. My client is your relationship. I will work with you to help you get unstuck from old patterns. Getting unstuck looks different for everyone, but this is where I can help.

This isn't a "one size fits all" situation, this is your relationship, so treatment is tailored to you.

I will provide insight on research, approaches, and options that we can look at together, but ultimately you are the expert in your relationship.  I want you and your partner(s) to feel empowered to create lasting change.

I am an active therapist

I won't sit there and look at your blankly for 90 minutes, where you question if I am even paying attention. I will engage you in the process because we are in this together.

will ask things that take a deeper look into your situation, your experiences and thoughts like:

  • What is your experience when you argue?

  • What happens in you when they walk away?

  • I will reflect back to make sure I understand, because YOU'RE the expert

I am a direct therapist

I will challenge things that are keeping you and your partner(s) from getting out of the old patterns that feel familiar, but are painful.

I am defiantly not a "stereotypical" therapist who uses psychobabble. I will laugh with you and cry with you. I have an authentic and laid back personality, but am not afraid to get to the heart of what brings you to me.

Therapy can help create lasting transformations in one of the most important relationships in your life.  Schedule a free 15 minute video consult  to see how I can help you OR you can dive in and schedule a first session today.
