Benefits of Online Therapy

Offices don't save marriages, the people in them do

Fitting in time to get to an office and have a session can be really difficult for folks trying to balance it all. Balancing schedules is hard enough between school, work, commuting in traffic, parenting, it's a wonder we get anything accomplished.

Plus, once you find the time:

  • Office hours can be limiting

  • Getting childcare can be difficult

  • Commute plus traffic can add up quickly possibly cutting into your session time

  • Hours may not be available for what you need due to clinician limitations

  • Scheduling multiple schedules can get hectic in the chaos of family life

For folks like you, online therapy can be a great way to access support. In offering my practice online through telehealth, I make professional, trained, and experienced relationship help within reach of your busy life from the safety of your home.

I offer later sessions, thanks to telehealth.

But is it "bad therapy?"

In April, 2021 APA released outcomes from several studies that that indicated Telehealth has similar outcomes to being in office. Disproving the myth that telehealth is "not as good" then being in office.

In talking to my clients, a majority of them prefer telehealth over in-person. When given the option to return or stay telehealth, 90% of them said they wish to stay telehealth (Even with vaccines and improved COVID numbers).

Through audio and video over the internet, you can meet with me  on-the-go from your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile device (iOS or Android) - it's your choice! It is confidential and HIPPA compliant.

Telehealth allows us to connect anywhere with secure and convenient appointments that save you time and hassle. There's no need to deal with traffic when you can schedule and attend your appointments directly from a laptop or mobile device.

Telehealth is:

  • Convenient for your schedule

  • Still offers specialized and personal care

  • Allows greater flexibility for scheduling. (I work as late as 9pm some nights! More times to see you!)

  • Promotes long term success and change through more frequent consistent appointments that distance and time prevents

  • Has the same successful outcomes as being in the office

  • Improves work/life balance for both clinician and client.

  • Confidential through my HIPPA compliant Telehealth software, SimplePractice.

  • Even more confidential then walking into an office building and waiting in a waiting room.

I put together two handy pages for you to look over and help prepare for our first telehealth session together:
